DEEP GULF 2009 PRESENTATION
December
2009 - Aker Solutions and Well Processing joined forces to
present the SWIT Pilot and the Tyrihans subsea water injection
system; Tyrihans is a dual pump station succesfully installed during
May 2009 on the Norwegian Continetal Shelf. Then the SWIT pilot
system was presented, with early encouraging results from the pilot
testing. The Tyrihans pump combined with a SWIT treatment unit makes
up a "Full subsea water treatment and injection system". |

OE 2009 EXHIBITION

September 2009 - The SWIT pilot and its live data connection were presented at Offshore Europe in Aberdeen 8th-11th September 2009
. Also, we presented the pilot project to two selected audiences
during the 4 day exhibtion; one session was hosted by Subsea UK (www.subseauk.org)
and the other by ITF(www.oil-itf.com). |

SWIT PILOT INSTALLED
July 2009 - We are proud to announce that a
SWIT pilot system was successfully deployed
in July 2009. This is a proof of concept system
that will run for one year, producing about 7500
BPD of treated sea water.
The objective of our pilot testing is to demonstrate and test
the combined water treatment efficiency of a representative SWIT unit (7500 – 15000 BPD)
on the seabed. Treatment aspects to be demonstrated and verified
includes:- Solids removal, water sterilization, system sterilization
and remote monitoring and control. |

RADICAL THINKING

June 2009 -
The Offshore Engineer magazine reports that "with confidence growing
among oil companies to move more offshore activities from platform
topsides down to the seabed, the next candidate could be subsea
treatment and injection of seawater for reservoir waterfloods". |
|
AGREEMENT WITH AKER SOLUTIONS
March 2009 - Aker Solutions and Well Processing AS have signed a
cooperation agreement to bring a new technology offering into the
marketplace. The combination of subsea water treatment and injection
aims to increase oil recovery from offshore produced fields. |
